Troy Consultancy was established in 2019 with a view to providing exclusive legal advice services as to Turkish law by Mr Abdurrahman Tepealti, Turkey-qualified lawyer with more than 12 years of experience. Having worked at the centre of Turkish government as a legislation expert for 5 years and at Energy Exchange Istanbul, EXIST (energy markets operator of Turkey) as a legislation & compliance director, he decided to establish his own firm in the UK to find result-oriented solutions for the needs of companies and individuals invested in Turkey and the UK.
Mr Tepealti advises international and local clients on a range of UK and international corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on Turkish Energy Law (mining, electricity and natural gas regulations), mergers and acquisitions, maritime and general corporate matters. He works with sponsors, borrowers, and lenders across a number of industry sectors, including energy, infrastructure and shipping. He has extensive experience on cross-border and multijurisdictional transactions in Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
